This is a classic dish that has spurred many variations. It is one of the dish that you can actually have a lot of fun with. You can add more cheeses or tomatoes (I may do this next time), or oregano or anything that goes along the line with italian dishes. I particularly like this version of recipe because of the use of the luncheon meat. I need to use up my luncheon meats and cheeses before heading to spain for holiday (yeahhh). So, this recipe is perfect for the taste and cleaning up the cupboard.

150 gr elbow macaroni
100 gr cheddar, cubed.
3 eggs, beaten
250 ml milk
1 tbs flour (add it into the milk)
1 onion, minced.
2 tbs margarine (I used roomboter)
1 can of luncheon meat / 8 slices, cubed
4 slices of cheddar cheese
grated cheese (amoun to your liking)
200 gr of ground meat
salt, pepper, and ground nutmeg

1. Boil water in a pan. Dump the macaroni and let it sit until it tenderizes.
2. Saute the onion until it turns translucent. Add in the ground beef.
3. Add in milk and flour mixture.
4. Add in eggs, cubed cheeses, macaroni.
5. Add salt, pepper, and ground nutmeg to taste
6. Prepare a greased baking pan.
7. Pour half of the macaroni mixture into the pan.
8. Spread the cubed luncheon meat and top it with cheese slices.
9. Spread the rest of the macaroni mixture into the pan.
10. Cover the whole surfaces with grated cheese
11. Bake it for 30 minutes on 180 degree Celsius or until the surface turns into a golden brown color.
